Youth for Christ/Africa Southern Region

Youth for Christ Southern Region is part of Youth for Christ International/Africa, whose focus is to reach young people for Christ in our communities, nations and around the world.

We are driven by the desire to see every young person in every people group in every nation having the opportunity to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is: To participate in the body of Christ in responsible evangelism of Youth, presenting them with the person, work and teachings of Christ and discipling them into the local church.

Southern Region is made up of the following nations: Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Young people are reached by the more than 400 staff and over 30 outreach programmes.

Our strategic focus is:  “To build a culture of Evangelism and Discipleship, A Commitment to the Word of God, Prayer and Spiritual Disciplines Among Young People who will lead by a Godly example and serve as a Catalyst for Change.”

As part of the Body of Christ our Vision is to see that every person in every people group in every nation has the opportunity to make an informed decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ and become part of the local church.
